New membership applications are posted at the beginning of the event season (Fall). Turn our social media post notifications on to receive updates about when the application will be posted
Requirements
Membership
We expect our members to be dedicated to fulfilling the mission of the organization. While dedication is an important aspect we require that members:

Maintain at least a 2.6 GPA & 2. GPA for E-Board
-
Be in good financial standing with the org (dues are paid)
-
Pay organization dues
-
Participate in at least 5 non-mandatory events per semester to be considered active
-
Attend 4 full-body meetings to be considered active
-
Notify the secretary about any absences or tardies prior to an event or meeting
-
Attend the induction ceremony for official recognition

Dues
BREAKDOWN OF
Each member is required to pay the $35 chapter dues every academic year.
Breakdown of chapter dues:

$10 ~ Book (organization scholarship fund)
-
$25 ~ Chapter dues
This payment will cover the purchase of organization shirts and put towards out of pocket expenses for future events. If you have a concern about paying your dues on time this can be discussed with the Treasurer.

Being apart of QIY ( Queen In You) is something I would've never done my freshman year. I have always been the type to stay to myself, I saw the flyer about applications going around. I read the mission statement and it was something I definitely was interested in. The E- Board members made me feel so welcomed and all the other members. I feel loved, I have learned something different that only a group of wonder women could've taught me, which was confidence that I saw in others and it sparked it in me. Our President, Zaliah, was made for this position and I couldn't be happier to be apart of this amazing organization. It's just like I gained 40 plus more sisters.
