Queen In You Scholarship Foundation
The NSU Queen In You Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2019 by the members of the Norfolk State QIY Chapter. This foundation was started with the hope of being able to provide financial support to current and future students attending Norfolk State University. We understand the importance of higher education and are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our spartan family.

Princess Tiana Scholarship
The Princess Tiana Scholarship is one of the QIY Scholarship Foundation awards that will be given to an incoming freshman or first-semester transfer student. This scholarship will only be given to a female high school senior that has committed to Norfolk State University.

The Lynda Barrett Scholarship
The Lynda Barrett Scholarship is one of the QIY Scholarship foundation awards that will be given to a current/returning Norfolk State student. This Scholarship is open to ALL students including males and non-members.
When do applications open?
The 2020-2021 application opens April 30th, 2020. Applicants will be able to access all required documents on this website.
WHen does the application window close?
Applications and ALL documents must be submitted by July 25th, 2020 at 5 pm. We will NOT be accepting late applications.

When will I know if i was selected for the scholarship?
The scholarship board will review all applications between July 27th and August 7th. Applicants will be informed, by email, if they were selected for the scholarship award on August 9th.
Scholarship Board
The scholarship board consists of members on the executive board, the advisors of the organization, and 2 general body members as representatives who will review all documents received by applicants.
